The last day of school at the Meadowlark was full of excitement. Students enjoyed the annual 5th vs. 6th grade kickball game, and there were two special guests. Mabel and her companion, Nanook, made an appearance while Mrs. Spence entertained everyone with a reading of The Wonkey Donkey.

Congratulations to Dentin DePriest for signing-on to attend Stanford University this coming fall. Dentin will be the 7th known Chinook student to attend this prestigious university with the first being Lloyd Sweet in 1913 and the most recent being Charles Palm in 1966. He was awarded a nearly $50,000 scholarship to attend and study Architecture and Urban Design. Great Job Dentin and good luck in the coming years. Go Beeters!
