Junior High Girls Basketball grades 7-8 will have open gym on Monday, December 29th from 10:00-11:30am and December 30th from 8:00-9:00pm in the high school gymnasium.
Hello Chinook Community, For those who have gym access fobs, they will not work M-Th between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm. This is true for the Meadowlark Gym and High School Gym. This is usually when we are in session and the fobs do not work during school hours unless you are a school employee. Unfortunately this cannot be adjusted for a few more days. We will keep you posted. Until then...have a great holiday season!

Hello Chinook Families. Due to an electrical issue at Meadowlark Elementary, school for grades K-5 is canceled for Thursday, December 18th. High School and Junior High will remain open. Buses will run for grades 6-12. Please contact the High School tomorrow if you have any questions. We Thank you.

The Meadowlark Christmas Program will be tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16 at the Chinook High School auditorium. Grades K-2 should arrive by 6:15 and Grades 3-5 should arrive by 6:45. There will be a brief intermission between programs.

The Wrestling Tournament in Glasgow for Friday has been cancelled. They have shortened the tournament to one day and it will begin at NOON on Saturday. Bus leave time is still to be determined. The boys will wrestle at Glasgow High School, and the girls will wrestle at the Civic Center. Wrestlers, contact your coaches if you have questions.

Due to the quick change in road conditions, we are going to close school at lunch time. Junior High and High School will be released at 12:02 and the Meadowlark will be released at 12:15. There will be no buses running this afternoon. Decisions on practices will be made within the hour including Missoula Children's Theater. Please take caution as you are around the schools. The rain on top of the snow has made for some very slippery roads. The parking lot at the Meadowlark is especially slippery. Please be careful if you are picking up your kids this afternoon and use the Meadowlark parking lot. Our grounds crew is working hard to address the ice and clear the snow throughout the week and on weekends. We appreciate their efforts! Please be patient as the buses may be a little delayed with the mud and ice. We also want to thank the City of Chinook and Blaine County Road Crews for making the roads passable. Stay safe everyone!
