Hello Chinook Community,

Today we had a small fire that was contained inside an oven in the home ec room. The building was evacuated and the fire department was called. The stove was quickly extinguished and removed from the building. The students and staff were then allowed to leave for lunch. The damage was limited to the oven. Classes will resume after lunch as planned. If you have questions, please contact the school.

The boil water notice is still in effect. Students and staff should bring bottled water to school tomorrow.

For the community members coming to the Pep Assembly today at 12:35, the south doors will be open beginning at 12:15 and lock again at 12:50. The elevator door will also be open during this time.
