Congratulations to the Chinook Cross Country team for an outstanding performance at the Box Elder/Rocky Boy Meet today! Neva Lowe captured 1st place with a time of 21:34, and Kirbey Hofeldt earned 10th place with a time of 27:06. In the boys’ race, Gus Buck, Beau Elias, and Malique Logan represented Chinook. Nearly every runner improved their time from the last meet. Way to go Chinook! Next race: Havre @MSU Northern campus this Friday - boys start 10:00am, girls start 10:45am. Come cheer on your fellow Sugarbeeters!

Lost and Found: At the football game on Friday night, a nice knife and a pair of ear buds were turned into the ticket booth. If you lost a knife or ear buds, please contact Mr. Rayburn at the school to identify and claim these items.

Great job to our Junior High Volleyball teams going undefeated at the Cut Bank Tournament today. The A-Team was 4-0 and the B-Team was 3-0. Go Beeters!

Attention: The JV Football game scheduled for Monday, September 8th has been cancelled due to lack of players from the opposing team. No JV Football game in Centerville on Monday.

2024-2025 Yearbooks for sale! If you would like a copy of the 2024-2025 Yearbook, please come to the high school office. Yearbooks cost $45.

It's Game Day Chinook! Varsity Volleyball is in Shelby, Junior High Volleyball is in Havre, Cross Country is in Cut Bank, and Varsity Football is at Home! If you are traveling with the teams, cheer loud for your Sugarbeeters! If you are in Chinook tonight, kickoff is 7:00pm vs Choteau. Come make some noise and GO BEETERS!

Just a reminder- no school on Monday, September 1. Friday, September 5 is a school day. Watch for basketball forms coming home today, 8/28 with Meadowlark students. They are due Tuesday, 9/2.

Due to a scheduling error, the JV Tournament in Shelby this Thursday has been cancelled. Varsity will still go on Friday and Saturday.

School Photos are right around the corner on September 10th. LC Clampitt Photography has provided pre-pay links for families. Please pay close attention to the links. One is for general class photos, and the other link is for fall sports photos. The paper order packets will also be coming home soon for those that do not wish to use the online pre-pay option.

Phones are down at the High School and Meadowlark. We will update when we have a connection.

School Picture Day 2025 will be September 10th. This will be individual photos and athletic photos. Photos will begin at the Meadowlark and then come up to the High School/Junior High. Be looking for the picture order packet to come home soon.

**Reminder** School starts at 7:55 on Tuesday, August 19th. Students should follow the signs throughout the school telling them where to go first thing in the morning. All students will receive a copy of their schedule at that time.. Be sure to check your schedule because there have been changes. The doors open at 7:30 with breakfast being served from 7:30-7:50am.
