The Meadowlark had some famous people visit today during the 5th grade Wax Museum. Students showed off their public speaking skills, then became wax figures portraying the person they researched. They created backdrops with pictures and captions and wrote research papers about their person. We are proud of their hard work!! Way to go 5th Grade!!











Montana State University-Northern Student Art Show will include pottery from the Chinook High School Art Classes. Students who will have art on display include Gracie Skoyen, Neva Lowe, Amalie Aberg, Bailey Billmayer, Rilee Molyneaux, Tayla Richman, Noah Pomeroy, Madilyn Gruszie

Congratulations to the Junior High Academic Olympic Team!
The Chinook Team captured 1st place in the oral competition round, outperforming students from eight participating schools, including Malta, Fairview, Glasgow, Glendive, Sidney, Plentywood and Wolfpoint.
In the individual competition, Cynnloch earned 1st place overall in the written test competition, which featured 80 students from schools in Malta, Fairview, Glasgow, Glendive, Plentywood, Wolfpoint and Sidney. The competition covered four subjects:
• Math: Cynnloch placed 5th
• Social Studies: Cynnloch placed 4th
• Science: Cynnloch placed 2nd
• English: Cynnloch took 1st place
Team members include: Cynnloch, Charlie N, January, Abby, Amos, Bridger, Akayshia, Jorie, Kaylie, and Sasha.

High School track meet in Glasgow has been cancelled.

Due to a number of students going to state FFA, the winter activities awards night is changed to Monday, April 7th at 7:00pm in the gymnasium.

Congratulations to the Academic Olympic Team for making it to the semi-finals in today's competition in Glasgow. We would also like to recognize Dentin DePriest (3rd) and Carter Rayburn (8th) for placing in the individual Social Studies test. Go Beeters!


Congratulations to Cynnloch Gibson for earning 3rd Place at the Montana State Spelling Bee! Great job Cynnloch representing Blaine County and Chinook School District at the state level!


There is a lot of fun learning happening at the Meadowlark. 2nd graders learned about Carnivorous Plants and then created them. 3rd graders created leprechaun's and wrote stories about them. 4th graders learned about Influential Women. Kindergarten drew lions and wrote stories.










The Lady Sugarbeeter basketball season has come to an end with a valiant effort against Malta, 44-62. Thank you players, coaches, and managers for a great season and for representing our community so well! Go Beeters!
