Weekly Activities Schedule for August 25-30

Hello Chinook Families,

School Photos are right around the corner on September 10th. LC Clampitt Photography has provided pre-pay links for families. Please pay close attention to the links. One is for general class photos, and the other link is for fall sports photos. The paper order packets will also be coming home soon for those that do not wish to use the online pre-pay option.

School phones are back online.

Phones are down at the High School and Meadowlark. We will update when we have a connection.

School Picture Day 2025 will be September 10th. This will be individual photos and athletic photos. Photos will begin at the Meadowlark and then come up to the High School/Junior High. Be looking for the picture order packet to come home soon.

**Reminder** School starts at 7:55 on Tuesday, August 19th. Students should follow the signs throughout the school telling them where to go first thing in the morning. All students will receive a copy of their schedule at that time.. Be sure to check your schedule because there have been changes. The doors open at 7:30 with breakfast being served from 7:30-7:50am. We will see you tomorrow! Go Beeters!

With school starting tomorrow, we want to reminder everyone to pay attention near intersections, especially near the schools. We also want to remind you to follow the bus signs to keep our riders safe. Go Beeters!

August 2025 Lunch Menu

This is a reminder to Chinook parents about the Fall Sports Parent Meeting Monday at 7:00pm in the Auditorium

Chinook Public School is seeking a classroom aide in the junior high/high school assisting with Title I support. This position is scheduled to be a part time position (approximately 5-6 hours per day, 4 days a week) but could become full time once school funding for federal Title programs is restored. The district pays 100% of the insurance premium for full time employees. Applications can be found on the school website or picked up at the high school office. Join us for Back to School Night at the Meadowlark. Monday, August 18th from 6:00-7:00 pm

Hello Chinook Community,

The gyms at both schools will be closed effective Monday morning for floor resurfacing. They will remain closed until August 15th. We will use this time to re-issue gym access agreements. All Fobs will be disabled effective Sunday at midnight. You can come to the school beginning August 11th to sign a new facility use agreement and have your Fob activated.

Grades 6-12 Fall Athletes, there will be a mandatory parent meeting on August 11th at 7:00pm in the Auditorium. Please bring all completed physicals with you at that time. Be prepared to complete additional paperwork while you are here for the meeting. See you then!

Notice: The Chinook School District is accepting sealed bids for a 1990 Blue Bird 32 passenger school bus. The bus has 88959 miles and is a 6-speed manual transmission. Please contact the school at 406-357-2236 to arrange for a viewing. Sealed bids must be received at the high school office, 528 Ohio Street, Chinook, MT, by 4:00pm on August 12, 2025. The Board will announce the winning bid at the regular meeting on August 12, 2025.

Mark your calendars! Fall Sports Parent Meeting is August 11th at 7:00pm in the Auditorium for grades 6-12.

First Bank is giving away school supplies for students in grades K-6 on July 23 from 5:15-6:15 or while supplies last.
