High School Announcements:

  • Track Meeting Tues. March 9 Rm 204 at 3:15.

  • Tennis Meeting Wed. March 10 3:15 in Rm 101

  • Spring sports begin Monday March 15.  Make sure you have your physical done before that date. 

  • The Boys BB team lost in the challenge game to Big Sandy.  They finished 3rd at the Northern C divisional tourney.  Bracket

  • The Girls BB team placed 3rd at Districts.  Congratulations girls!!

  • Sugarbeeter Wrestlers are the Class C State Champs!

High School Accomplishments:

  • Chinook High School was recognized by the MHSA for good sportmanship and citizenship.  We had zero ejections in the 2008-09 school year!

  • FOOTBALL:  Team:   4-4 record and placed 5th in the 10 team Northern Division
    All Conference:  Robert, Tyler, Connlin, Chris,

  • VOLLEYBALL: Team: Conference Champs!  3rd at Districts
    All Conference:  Shani, Alyssa, Taryn
    All State: - Shani

  • WRESTLING - Team:  Class C State Champions.  Placed 2nd as a team at the divisional
    Individual Placers: 

    Willie - 1st, Robert - 1st, Ben - 1st, Connlin - 6th, Jorrell - 4th.
    All Conference:
      Angelo, Geoff, Willie, Robby, Robert, Ben,  Cord, Connlin, Jorrell,  Winston
    All State:  Willie, Robert, Ben, Connlin, Jorrell

  • GIRLS BASKETBALL:  Team:   12-10 Record; 3rd at Districts

  • BOYS BASKETBALL:  Team:  17-8 Record; 2nd at Districts; 3rd at Divisional
    All Conference:  Dylan MacLean, Taylor Erskine, Chris Haider
    All State:  Dylan MacLean

 

Junior High Accomplishments:

  • FOOTBALL:  8-1 record
  • VOLLEYBALL:  22 participants (WOW) who showed great improvement from beginning to end.
  • BASKETBALL:  Both teams earned 10-4 Season records and carried a 2nd place seed into the district tourney.  Girls were the champs!!  Boys took 2nd!
