GRADING POLICIES

A definite grading policy has been formally established for the school system regarding grades earned in each class.  Each instructor will explain and/or hand out the grading policies.  Attendance can be included in a grading system.  The following is the list of grades:

A = 93%-100%

            B = 83% - 92%

            C = 73%-82%

            D = 65%-72%

            F = 64% and below

            I = Incomplete

As outlined in policy, students have one (1) week from the end of the grading period to finish an incomplete grade. (Unless hospitalized or death in the family).  After one (1) week, the missing work is given a “zero” and the instructor will recalculate the grade using zeroes for the incomplete work.
